I just installed a Sirius Sportster unit in my 98 explorer, how do I attach the power so it turns off when the car turns off and turns on with the ignition? Do I have to wire the power attachment to the radio harness or igniton swith or some thing like that? Please help

Your right. You can either do it by tapping into the radio harness or piggyback a fuse in the fus compartment.
