Gas Door!

hi, i have an 85 supra. i was tryin to put gas in it the other day and when i pulled the lever by the seat that opens the gas door on that back it broke off. so now i cant put gas in my car. does anybody know how i can get the door open or if there is another button or way to put gas in the car?

you should be able to still get ahold of the cable and pull on that... other than that, you might have to replace the switch before you can open the gas door.

You could try getting a screwdriver or something in there to push the release button, but you risk damaging your paint, of course. Good luck!

Junk yard time, call all the local yards and find out which ones have some MK2's, drop by and buy the part you need. So your saying the plastic handle broke, or the cable? It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to remove and shouldn't cost more than $10 if its the handle. It will be a very simple job if you have a basic metric tool set, probably get by with just a 10mm.

there ia alot of slack in the cable but the handle is broke too
