we can't see it because it's a link into your photobucket account and it's blocked by a PW. they provide the [img] tags you need right under the picture, just copy and paste 'em.

how's body? got any pics from the outside?
that's not the factory engine is it? i didn't think they came with 8 cylinders, my buddies is a 2.5 I4, i think.
i like S10's, my one friend had an Xtreme with air ride suspension, and my other buddy has an older one as his 2nd vehicle.

i dotn have any body pics but i will get some. i completely rebuilt it and its a got a new custom paint job, and no the engine isnt factory, i put it in when i got tired of the crappy lil 2.8 V6. plus the thing scoots with the engine non-modded due to the fact that its RWD, and the truck only weighs 2900

The old old s-10's had a v8 option i beleive. like mid 80's. Need a dress up kit and a good wire brush. Its carburated too. Naughty naughty. Get MPEFI and some headers, clean it up a little and it will be pure eye candy. but why am i talking. i dont even have a car at the moment. lol. Other than that not too shabby. Manual or Auto? What times does it run and what sort of handleing does it have. I too would like to see some exterior pics. Im thinking of going the light truck route as well. only im thinking more Turbo 4cyl. But that is after soccer season. only 14 more days of this BS. please god dont let coach put me on varsity and have to withsand another month of state tourney. im thinking of wreseling next year...but i hate spandex...ill stick with soccer.

the s-10s never had a v8 option, the only thing they had was a sonoma with a turbo 4.3 V6, that was called the cyclone. alot of people thought the s-10 ss in the mid-80's had a v8, but it was just a 4.3 with some suspension tuning and it was dropped. its anm automatic, and i have a hurst floor shifter for it for when sumone wants to play or for when i go to the track. not sure of my times b/c when i went last year i had ALOT of gas tank issues. my tank was full of rust causing it to get in my carb and making my carb run out of gas at high rpms causing it to shut down on its own. as far as the carb goes i debated on FI of anykind, but i decided i would go with the less electronic approach and something less siple where i control the fuel ration and such. and if u decide to go with a small truck i woudl say get an s-10 and drop a v8 in or find urself a syclone and you will scoot. they are turboed V6 like i said, but they are also all wheel drive. 0-60 is 4.4, my neighbor has one, they are amazing

ditch those cast iron exhaust manifolds and get yourself some tubular headers mang!!!

It hurts my heart to see so much stockness on a smallblock. :(

i want headers, but its hard to see in the pic, but my clearance b/t manifolds and sterring shaft is less than a centimeter so if i got headers i would have to make the shaft go through the header tubes and that is way to much work for the hp gained

man save your time and money and save for a 350.......i used to have a 305 ho in my truck from a camaro and it was ok I guess. But the 350 responds a lot better to mods, is a lot more reliable, etc. Plus how many miles are on the 305? I would never mod an engine with 100,000 + miles on it.

actually as far as reliability goes, 305's and 350's are equal. and my 305 is not the same 305 they put in camaros. when i get this cam and new carb on thsi engine it will be able to run with any slightly modded 350(excluding the ls1,ls2, etc).

not bad...all it needs is to be cleaned up a bit...

Me no like v8. Personally i like the sound of a turbo 4 running very high boost and straight exaust. Really my favorite sound is a high compression NA v12.....

I prefer the sound of a v8 with a lopey cam and gear drive.

I like the sound of any well tuned engine.

It's all gravey.

I'm with you Mr.RedNeck383, nothing sounds better than a well tuned engine pulling gobs of power and winding very quick.
