Stuttered acceleration

my mom has a 92 rs that as of yesterday started stuttering while accelerating. it goes away then goes back when she slows down.

i recently did a coolent flush a couple days ago b/c she had water on her passenger side floor and figured it was the heater core. monday i'm changing out the heater core...could this be the problem?? she was smelling coolant in the car b4 i did the flush but the smell is gone. i had a similar stutter problem with my car but that was when i had blown a head gasket...seeing that this is an american car, i have little to no knowledge on diagnosing this problem

sounds to me like a random misfire...look into replacing plugs and wires and cap and rotor

found out what was wrong...spark plug wire was agins the engine and the heat wore away the insulation and exposed the wires
