I'm not going to pretend I know about cars or the language mechanics use for the cars. But here is my situation. I have a 95 Chevy Lumina van. When I drive it somewhere and I shut it off, I have to wait for it to cool down before it will start back up. Now, today, it won't start at all. I know it's not the battery. I got a jump today and it started, so I went about my business, came home. I tried to start it a little while ago and again it would not start. I hear a clicking sound when I try to turn it over, but nothing.
Someone suggested to me it may be the coil pack? I am clueless to these things. Can someone help?

Are you sure that it's not the battery? I'm just asking because you said you got it jumped then it started. Check the battery terminals to make sure they're tight, if the battery IS good, your problem may lie in the starter.
