I have been importing jdm cars to canada. Three have gone to the USA, two without any problems and one guy had a hard time. Are the laws different from state to state or do you just need to get someone at the DMV in a good mood. I have access to lots of cars and they are really nice and the prices are right but I want to be able to get them to people in the US without hassles. Does it make a difference if the model was offered in the US originally? Example when I sent Honda crx's to California the guys had no troubles whatsoever.
At the moment I have a 1989 Nissan Skyline E-HRC32 GTS-T Type M for sale. Please advise.

The only way we americans can own a Skyline in the US to have the car converted to US specs by a little company called Motorex. Sure, some americans may buy the car from you but unless they plan on having Motorex doing the wrench work, theres gonna be problems ahead. Unless they truly are buying the car for race/show purposes but thats a whole other situation.
