Couple Problems...

1. I was getting ready to drive to the store today in my 97 Z28 when I noticed my check gauges light was on and my battery was at half power. I turned the car off to see that my serpentine belt was hanging off my alternator. Somehow a chunk of ice was on the alternator wheel where the belt should of been. It seems that water was dripping from my hood onto the belt and that must have knocked it loose when I turned the car on. I believe the water is coming from my hood scoops, and dripping through a hole in the protective foam or whatever that is attached to my hood. Should I worry about the water getting on to my optispark from there and if so how would I go about fixing the hole in that foam???
2. Also my 97 z28 seems to be leaking a greenish type of fluid close to my passanger side front tire. If it was antifreeze wouldn't it be orange?

1-Duct Tape :naughty:
In all reality I have no idea how that much water could be getting into the engine bay. Check and see if you can actually find a hole where it could be getting in. How big was this "chunk of ice" anyway?
2-Im not sure what color 97's came with...my 94 takes the good ol green stuff, and Im guessing yours does as well (someone correct me if Im wrong). You could always check by taking off the radiator cap and looking at the color of the fluid...or be stupid like me and taste the stuff on the ground :grinyes: (if its antifreeze it'll taste sweet).
