307 engine swap in my 83 Hurst

I would like to swap out my engine in a 1983 Olds Hurst. Can any tell me what engines work the easiest and have the best performance.

Leave the 307 in it. The Hurst Olds along with the Buick Grand National are by far the most collectible cars of the 80's. Making any modifications including a swapping a larger engine will only lower the value of the car. If you go through with it save the original engine so you can bring it back to stock some day or better yet buy a Cutlass for your engine swap.

Best thing to do is remove the 307 and junk it. I would install a 86/87 Turbo Buick V6, you can buy one with ECM for $1500.

how valuable do you think the smog muscle cars can get? by the way the turbo 6 is a more interesting choice than the 350 chevy.
