Hi everyone i need a bit of help. I am looking to build a box for 2 rockford fosgate 10" punch subwoofers. I am going to make it sealed not ported and each woofer in its own chamber. I went to the rockford fosgate website and the little box calculator said i needed to make it
hieght 10"
Depth 12"
width 14"
for each chamber to make it for .65 cubic feet of airspace. The woofers are P110S4 Models
now does that mean that that is the internal measurements? If so how do I know what the external measurements will be. Thanks for the help

I'd suggest porting them for extra loudness and better low end.

Ported is an option, but in the manual those subs say to use 0.65 cf sealed.
When you take those dimensions you gave it gives a volume of approx. 0.97 cubic ft... and if you subtract 3/4" from each side (I'm assuming that's the thickness you'll be using) then it's 0.65 cubic ft. I guess it would be a little less because of the displacement of the sub...
So it sounds like those measurements you got are for the external part of the box.
