Very Happy Man!

I just bought Neuspeed Sport Springs and I had them installed and on the same day my AEM intake came so I installed both of them, DAMN! I love the way the car looks and I love the way it sounds. I am going to get exhaust in about 2 weeks, any suggestions?? Also I am going to sell all of my lego (around $3,500 worth) and I am going to be purchasing either a VORTEC or an FMAX so... I will post pics as soon as I have acess to a digital camera. I have also put in Mesh Grills and they look so tizight!

Congrats on the mods though !

Anything Apex, HKS, or 5-Zigen is a good exhaust. I am partial to the 5-Zigen because of the looks, sound, performance, and price... it's an awesome bang for your buck.

BTW Why did you decide to go with springs instead of coilovers? Just curious what makes people decide...

I decided to go with springs because I only wanted to lower it a few inches and I didnt want to jar my teeth. I had a friend that put coil overs on his Si and when he dropped it I swore I was riding in a go cart with no suspension whatsoever. I love the springs because it got rid of my wheel gap and I dont have to sacrifice comfort. Plus I got a really good deal on them!

if I get the 5-Zigen should I just replace the muffler or should I do some sort of cat back for my Si, I hear it already has a wide enough opening all I need to do is add a muffler?

How does $90 sound for the 5-Zigen??

$90 sounds good if its a true 5 zigen and not a copy, like on ebay. i'd think that true 5 zigen would be $150-200. how big is your stock exhaust? it you are going f/i you will most likely need 2.5" to 3" piping depending on the application.

That has a lot to do with the struts and which coilovers your friend got. You get what you pay for in suspension, just like one of my friends got some crappy off brand coilover system (only paid $100 for it all), and with her stock struts on, omg, I couldn't eat before I got into her car or I'd get sick from all of the bouncing. After I talked her into getting new struts before getting altezzas ( :rolleyes: ), it was smoother. On the other hand I spent a little more $$ on some Ground Control coilovers, and even on stock struts (I'm getting the tokicos within the next few weeks), it's almost like it was with stock springs. :) I dropped it like 2.5 inches too, and it's nice and smooth. ;)

i was a lego maniac back in the day when they were really cool. too bad i lost most of them otherwise i might sell for a few hundred bucks. as for lowering... i have the tokico illumina's with neuspeed race springs. very nice and smooth. i just got my ground controls delivered today. once my car gets outta the shop for body damage i will install.

i love when people buy springs/coilovers and complain that they are bouncy as hell. It makes me laugh. Why dont people ask about what they buy. i bet you got like 300+ lbs/in springs, thats why the car is bouncy not because of the brand.

Forget the springs, you need to post pics of this $3500 lego system. I love legos :)

Well here is an update to put in the "you are a dumbass and you spoke too soon"

Early I posted a thread about the crappy B16 Tranny and all of the issues I had with it well...I said I got it fixed finally until I decided to visit a friend 2 hours away. On the way to his house the car wouldnt stay in 5th gear, it kept popping out, I thought it was my clutch because I know I need a new clutch so I decided I would go to the Honda dealer in town where my friend lives and get one. Well before I could get to the Honda dealer I had lost all gears except for 3rd and 5th. I still atributed this to the clutch. SO I brought my ailing Si into the dealer and they test drove it.

The tech Said he couldnt find anything wrong and then he went to park it and the tranny seized and he cant get it in any gear. So I am screwed, this is strik 3 can anyone say lemon law??

Ok so they are supposed to call me tomorrow and let me know what is wrong with the tranny after they tear it down but in the mean time I am stranded in Gainesville. WTF am I going to do??

I will keep you guys posted on what they say about the tranny
