Cool Story :)

So i'm cruisin' on the highway going 55-60, driving the speed limit. I come across a regular Lancer, and i "slowly" passed on its left side. I guess the dude got angry or wanted to race ... So after i passed him up he ACCELERATES as if we were racing, switches lanes, gets in front of me and speeds away. I'm still cruisin at my normal speed. I could see the Lancer about a good 50 yards away. We come to a light and it turns yellow, i definitely could not make it, so i slow down and wait for red. Now the guy in the Lancer decides to be cool and speed up for the yellow. He didn't really make it, mid-way it turned red. I stop at the redlight, look to the right of the intersection only to see a cop, who obviously saw everything. He sped off behind the Lancer and from afar i saw the 5-O lights flash. My light turned green, i continued to my destination/"journey", if you will, and passed the pulled-over Lancer at my cruisin' speed of 55-60mph :) The End

lol thats great, i think its funny how people try to show off when they see our cars cruisin around. Its just 10x better once they get pulled over. LOL. great story

i have a similiar story i was coming home from a friends house about 12 or 1 in the morning and i was getting on the freeway knowing there arent that many cops where i was i hammmered on it on the on ramp... well i then came down to about 70 - 75 < speed limit 65 > i saw a 300zx coming up behind me very fast and he came up next to me and slowed down... looked at me and gave me a thumbs up... so we both drop down to a lower gear and floor it... we go past 1 of ramp and then i look ahead and see under one bridges is a cop and by this time we r still pretty close to each other doing about 120 and i hammer on the brakes and veer onto the on ramp that was right next to me.. the 300 must not have seen the cop cause he kept going with no brake lights.. the next thing i c is the cop lights and sirens hit and i bolt in some weird direction i didn't even know... in the end when i turned around and came back to go home finaly the cop was gone and so was the guy but his car was still there...

I just had something just like this happen to me today.. kinda ironic. I was driving my moms truck and I was on my way home from wallmart and traffic was a little busy because this rv was doing the speed limit (55) and there was a cop behind him. Well the traffic was bad about 10-12 cars.. and then all I see is this little jetta come flying by in the middle turn section, fly's past the cop, the cop turns on his siren and goes after him. A little bit furthur down the road I see the jetta pulled over. It's kinda funny when you see people do stupid things.

Yea good storys. i remember when i was driving on a long steach of road and the speed limit was 56mph well the police was also driving the road at about 48 so this MMC galant decides to overtake the police at only 78mph! the police of course stoped him and the next day in the police journals in the newspaper i saw a story about that incident and tha Galant driver saying that he thoug it was leagal to go over the speed limit while overtaking :)

Well yea ... i wasn't trying to race that Lancer because first, i was on a road i was very unfamiliar with, i did not want to get pulled over by a cop, and i could've smoked that Lancer ... lol hey even if i had raced and smoked him ... who do you guys think the cop would've gone after? The leader or the follower?

I've heard it go both ways, sometimes a cop will just go after the follower seeing as that would be an easier catch but he could radio in for backup in which case you might both be screwed if there are any units ahead of you.

I just got nailed for speeding right on the road off of my school not too long ago when I was trying to have a little fun with my friend in his 03 i-vtec accord but it wasn't too bad because I was 1 of about 40 kids that got pulled over from my school that day.
