I have a 94 Accord EX. Is it possible to switchout my automatic tranny for a 5-speed manual??? I'm a beginner learning the basics, but i know i want more speed from my car and trying to sup up a automatic just seems kinda pointless, any help would be appriciated THANKS.

actully it doesn't really cost that much to do i did it in my 93 probe the total came to be some where about $700.00 and thats with a new clutch
what you do is search around at juck yards for a man. tranny and all the linkage, shifter, clutch and brake pedel you may need the ecu i didn't change mine, you also need the brake booster and master cylinder. it took me about a week to finish it thats me getting home at 6:00 and working about 1 1/2 hours m-friday and about half the day on saturday drove great when i was finished, the hardest part was hangin the damn pedels

unless you have a junk yard connection and are going to do it yourself, i would recommend you sell your car and look for a 94 ex stick.i like the ex cause of the vtec, and if its stick even better. i have had both auto and stick and i love the stick more than the auto.
