Remote and Key Help

:confused: I bought a remote with the wrong key for my Jetta and I bought an uncut key, but I dont know how to remove the old key. I have been told that there is a pin somewhere around the key but I have had no luck on finding that. Also, need help programming the remote. It is a 2000 Jetta GLS. Any Help???? :smokin:

You need to open the key 1/2 way and right next to the plastic housing by the release button on the metal key part there is a small pin that you have to press out.

As for programming, you need to take it to a vw dealer to do that.
