i have a 93 s-10 2.8l rear wheel. i want to ditch the rwd and get some 4x4 action.
i want to make this thing look like it runs. it runs well. i just filled up the wheel wells with 15 inch rims and 235/75 tires. im about to buy an add a leaf for the back and a grille gaurd to mount some baja off road lamps onto. i just bought a tach and am about to install that. im gonna under body coat it cause i got some rust coating on the frame. i was thinking about maybe a roll on bed liner because the bed i currently carry is not up to par. and roll on is inexpensive. as much money as i want to spend on this truck before i sell it i have to save some to buy a 4x4 s-10. the only other problem on it is i took off the tailgate and found the filler in the back rusted out. ill probably just weld and cut my own filler and put it in. i put in a cd player. im about to put in bucket seats with grey and black covers to match the grey and black interior. and i have some new speakers to put in and a center consule. after that ill probably want to keep the truck haha but other than that is there any cheap things i could do to make it look better? like under 50 dollars? i was thinking about making a homemade intake for it. just to give a little boost under the hood also. how much do you think it would be worth after all this? there are no scratches in the paint and its been taken care of extremely well. im not expecting to make back what i put in because i know i put in my heart and soul for this truck and i have only had it for 5 months.

Doesn't matter want you put into it,it will only be worth what NADA or Kelly Blue Book estimate it at.Sorry but that's the truth.

I recommend that you look for some cheap 4x4 with a blown motor, or something that's easy to fix for anyone that can swing a wrench. Buy it, fix it (even if it's just with auto wreck parts) then when your happy with it sell your existing truck.
Besides then you don't have some angry person chasing after you when he finds out how mickeymouse your truck is.
I traded my former boss a couple of days work for my Blazer 4x4 with a blown motor, and had it running for under 500 bux canadian with a re-built motor doing the work myself. It would have been under 200 bux for a self serve auto wreck motor... so it's possible.
