I have a 94 Caravan, and earlier today I left the gas station, sped up kind of fast and I threw a rod. Taps like crazy now. Any idea how much that would cost to fix? And do I need a new motor or can they just put in a new rod and Ill be set?

Sorry to inform you, but you are looking at an engine rebuild/replacement. Nobody pulls an engine out, takes it apart does one cylinder.
Rebuilt engines run in the $2000 range. You could also check into the cost of obtaining an engine with low miles from a salvage yard and then finding a local garage that could flip it in for you. That usually runs in the $1500 range. Either way, it probably isn't worth it with a 10 year old car.

As far as I know 3L or 3.3 have no rods. They do however have tappets(Hydrolic) if one of the tappets is collapsed the chances are you may have to take it in for a re and re tappet. How much it can cost!!!!!!! I have no ID

They do however have tappets(Hydrolic) if one of the tappets is collapsed... I agree with this possible lifter diagnosis... if the lifter is collapsed, it might only be stuck. Make sure your oil is clean and at the proper level. Hard to tell from your description how loud "loud" is, but you might try Advance Auto and any number of oil treatments specifically designed to free up sticking lifters. This may sound funny, but I have used "Marvel Mystery Oil" on some of my older cars with sticking hydraulic lifters and it unstuck them while quieting them down at the same time. Good Luck.
