dont believe so new vette claim to have the most power ever they have that much so i doubt it could be wrong though

All ZR1 Vettes had the LT5 Quad cam. So yes it had 4 cam but the coolest thing to me was that a couple years had what was called a valet key which detuned the engine for around town driving. with the valet key turned off the engine output was reduced to about 250 flywheel horsepower. Also 93-95 was rated at 405 and 90-92 was rated at 375

I was reading this article which verifys that the LT5 had 4 cams and it was a interesting read for those of you that would like to see a ZR1 take on a Z06. So check it out,

I had a 90 vette and in the owners manual it said the key turned on a second set of injectors for more power. I don't think it was for vallet but for just normal driving.

They call the key to detune it a Valet Key and it was used for regular driving with the key in the detune position and you would turn it into on position for all out performance. they explain it better on this site. http://www.justanothertoy.com/zr1.htm anyway never driven one of these but it sounds very interesting.
