New 3rd row seat instal

I have a 2002 CXL Rendezvous without the 3rd row seat option. I have called dealers inquiring about adding a 3rd row seat. Many dealers are not interested in doing it, and recommend calling a customizer.

Anyone able to add a 3rd row seat...any tips???

so..its over a year after your post but maybe this will help anyone in the future. I also bought an 03 rendezvous (02-05=same thing) with only 2 rows of seating....I searched for a few months and got a deal from LKQ (huge salvage operation) on their ebay listings....I got all 3 rows from an 05, leather, mint condition for $450 shuttled to st louis and i picked them up....I havent put the front 2 in yet, but the second row bench came right out and the 2 2nd row captains chairs snapped right in....NOW, the 3rd row has to be bolted to the floor...very easy. Just close the hatch and line the seat up about 2 inches from the back window and mark the carpet...I used decent size bolts....now my only problem is finding the seat belt assemblies to go into the sides of the vehicle...they all have the cap but i need the actual roll of seatbelt from each side..I have my dealer looking up part numbers for me now and ill update this thread when i hear back so it might help others.
