1969 transmission dipstick

Hello in the process of helping a friend redoing his bird and we are having a hard time finding a dipstick for the trans.
All the repop stuff we found is for chevy's not pontiac.

some specs
Turbo 400
AC
350 pontiac motor

Welcome to the forum and your best bet is to go to www.car-parts.com (http://www.car-parts.com/) and request a replacement tranny and see who has that combo and then start calling them and I bet one of them will sell you just the dipstick for pretty cheap. Good luck

You should try calling Year One. They have a huge wharehouse, and if I remember right, I think they had that part in their catalog. I remember because I have the same combo in my 69 and I was looking for a trans X-member.

the tranys were the exact same except for the bolt pattern on the bell-housing so a chevy dipstick would work
