My 1999 Yukon was broken into and I need to replace the outside driver door handle. Will I have to get a new key? I have the plastic handles (black). Any imput will help.

Hi,
I don't remember this but assume that the cylinder is in the handle.
Do you have the lock cylinder, and is it in good shape?
If yes, put it in the new handle.
If no, do you have the factory ID tag for your keys?
This may help in re-keying the new lock to the old ones.
If not, you may have to take the cylinder out of the passenger side and re-use it for the driver side.
In the worst case you may end up with one new, differently keyed lock and key in addition to your old locks with the old key.
