a mod is a moderator. they have the power to ban, lock threads and edit/delete post... as long as you arent being a dick to people or breaking any rules they will leave you alone... they are actualy pretty nice guys..... just like u and me, ForumlaLT1 etc.... the new guys arent being banned, only people breaking rules.... you will be fine....

If your talking about Diego, He was warned several times(at least three) by mod's to stop using racial language and stop personal attacks on fellow member's. He refused to stop doing these thing and unfortantly he left them no choice but to ban him. Hope this answered your question.

the thread just got locked no one was banned, the guy was saying he knew more than 95% of the 16yr olds on this site and was really trying to brag himself up which caused some problems... if he makes many future problems he could be put up for ban....

John would make a great mod. You can tell from his posts that he has vast technical knowledge when it comes to dealing with cars. He jokes around alot, but you can tell by alot of his posts that he knows how to be mature when the time calls for it. As far as activeness goes, I know from chatting with him personally that he is CONSTANTLY reading the forums, and if he is not online, he is usually easy accesible via Yahoo, email, etc. You could take cheap shots at him and not worry about him holding a grudge against you. Yes, he would be a good mod.

also, Josh has a point bringing up the numbers.. but i would like to point out that 2 of the members that voted no were recently banned for personally attacking other members and refusing to be contributors to the forum(not gonna mention names). I dont think they should even be counted as no votes anymore, in my opinion its a 33-3 count at this point. Really i feel like if John isnt qualified to become a mod, nobody is...
