Alternatives..?

If you don't have a hose, whats a good alternative to rinse a car after it's been hand washed..?

I live in an apt complex, and there is NO hose outlet for the tenants, so that sucks. I've been using a 5 gallon bucket, with soap and water, along with a good car wash brush and mit to wash my car-but rinsing is a bitch. I have to go inside (bit of a walk), go up some stairs, fill up my bucket with CLEAN water, go back downstairs (carrying 5 gallons is tiring:-( and rinse my car-putting the cleaned brush in the bucket, and just going over the sudsy car.

I was trying to think of an alternative..? Do they make like a pump-hose that you can fill up with water-and shoot it on the car..? Lol, maybe i'll get a super soaker water gun :-)

Run a hose from your faucet to your car. But I do like the elephant idea just think of the possibilities...

My first idea wasn't that bad, I had to do it to fill up all my fish tanks.

No problem, I aim to please. Hot water to wash I car, I used that at my old house. Damn that was nice except for when my brother soaked me with it. He didn't understand why I was rolling around screaming on the ground until the handle got all hot...that was not a good 3 weeks.

I dry my car with a normal towel thats 100% terry cloth, pretty much a beach towel :-) No streaks really, although my tbird is silver-so you really wouldn't notice.

BTW, i don't know if i should use the hot water-IT'S BURN YOUR SKIN HOT :-( Probably just the cold.

LOL Andydg, damn that had to hurt.. i know what burns feel like, on 4th of july my brother shot a friggin bottle rocket at my ass. Hit me right in the left bicep...OUCH..

chamois(e).

and fireworks do hurt. me and some buddies had an intoxicated roman candle fight in my back yard last Canada Day, and i caught one right in the thigh. burnt through my jeans, singed a circle of hair off my leg and gave me a nice blister. but the video we got was so worth it.

A leather Chamios. Not those crappy synthetic ones, they are about as good as pulling down your pants and drying your car with your ass.
