...been gone for a while, as I really had nothing to contribute, being the grandpa-car driver that I am now, with the Oldsmobile. I plan to rectify that, but how soon? Don't know. Also, been busy with my spare time, trying to catch up with as many NBA games as I can.
Anywho, as my sig below states, the black R34 I was pimping before has been sold, but my friend has another one. Sorry folks, this one has a buyer already. He had it in his shop, and of course I stopped by, and I bought a whole new digi-cam just for this experience.
It's a blue V-Spec with - get this - 10km on it. That's not a typo. Brand-spanking-new folks. That's what it had when he picked it up. He might've added a half-mile or so test-driving it around his shop's block. Battery was dying, so I didn't get to start it. :(
Without further ado, here's a sample:

Get this.
He thought about keeping the car, same with the black one that was a VSpecII. His contact in Japan said he can get him a Nur-Spec, so he's going for that one.
I hate him.

60K for this blue with with such low mileage is amazing. Good to hear that someone other than Motorex can bring them for reasonable prices. Btw how much did the black one go for? And i though that was a Vspec I not II.

The black one, with about 60K or so kilometers sold for 50K, and I was wrong about the designation.
I realized it when I saw the VSpec badge on the blue one.

Thats what Im wondering, doesnt each one of these cars have to go through motorex's strict expensive procedure to get it to pass CARB, DOT, and a few others approval?

There were only 400 Nur-Specs produced. RARE car.
Nissan Skyline GT-R NUR spec
With an expected launch date of early 2004 for the next generation GT-R (the Skyline handle is gone), Nissan unveiled the final facelift of its current Godzilla, the awesome R-34 Skyline GT-R NUR (Nurburgring-spec) just in time to beat the more stringent emission laws due to come into force mid-year The German circuit has become a second home to the GT-R over the last decade as test drivers racked up hundreds of kms honing the car’s class-leading handling. And now, in its final guise, the 230kW GT-R NUR is basically the same spec as the recently launched M-spec except that the new version receives a metal turbine taken straight from the N1 race-prepped GT-R V-spec. The current ceramic variety makes way for a metal type which improves torque response, especially in the low to mid-ranges. And a new green has been added to the body colour options.
