Hey this is for any and everyone...Why is it so hard to find after market kits for our olds?? I mean i have a 2001 aurora but there are plenty of kits for the honda's, the nissans and others . I mean the only thing that i figure i can do to my car is to put tires on it (17in Kumo's) get rims, and tint windows. Is that it? is there any thing else i can do, what have you guys and ladies done....help i want to increase the speed and have it looking even better than what it is...

What else does your Aurora need? The reason why so many aftermarket parts exist for Honda's and the like is because they SUCK to start off with.

For those of you who say the Aurora needs nothing never read that it was designed for people approx 45-58yrs old. If it wasn't for the RAZZI kit I wouldn't have ever bought my Aurora.
As far as 2001, sorry, there isn't much for appearance upgrades. Very few performance upgrades for any Aurora or Northstar.
I'll grant ya its a sweet car, I won't give mine up.
But this is a free market society and weed wackers (honnisoyta) crap cars are cheep to buy, and there is plenty of punks willing to put 5times the cars value into it.
Not many 45-58 year old people buy accessories for their ride.

If its cosmetic leave your 2nd gen alone, rims, tires, tint makes a huge difference to the exterior. So will some nice exhaust tips.
If you want performance, there are things you can do, ie catback exhaust, intakes, enlarged throttle bodies etc.
Razzi is not for me, but I will agree to the fact that if done right with proper rims, Razzi has a lot of potential.

I met a guy once at a car show who was one of the local hot rodding legends. He had an '01 V8 that he used as an everyday driver and it was pretty hot. While all the parts he used were stock the transformation was amazing. Color sanded black paint, dark tinted glass and taillights, stock 17" rims with slightly wider tires, front end lowered 1", rear end lowered 1.5", all of the hood/trunk emblems stripped off, and 1/2" spacers behind the wheels to bring them flush with the fenders.
This guy said the customization only cost him around $600 in parts but he was capable of all of the work himself. It was amazing to see how some small, inexpensive, subtle changes can turn a stock Aurora into a showpiece.
