Deep thought of the day...

You can pay somebody to massage you (aka rub their hand on you and it feels good)

You can pay two "actors" to have sex while you film it.

You can pay for cyber-sex.

But paying for real sex is illegal???

some places it's ok,
but yeah, this is stupid. I feel any act that involves 2...as many people as you wantm as long as every one is a willing participant then do what ever you want.
If no one else is being harmed, then whos business is it of anybody to tell someone how to live.

if legalized, prostitution, among other things, would be safer. And less of the population participating would be subject to violence or disease. A large percentage of this population are considered to be 'undesirables' to the wealthy elite...a.k.a. THEM. It's all about eliminating these undesirables. By killing or imprisoning. Once a felon, can you ever vote?

So if your ever arrested trying to pick up a hooker just say a friend was paying you to F%&* her and you were gonna tape it for him.
Some how I dont think this would work, I wonder if they have to get some sort of permit to make a movie just so its legitimate.
Also do porno actors get to chose who the do it with, or once they sign the contract can the boss be like your going to screw him then her then all those people over there for the final seen.

Unforunatly its all a product of living in a western society that gets all its Moral beliefs and Laws about right and wrong from a 2000 year old religion filled with contridictions, but followed by enough people in power that its ideals are made into law.
Theres no conspricy theory, (unless you consider the catholic church) just a lot of history, and some very closed minded conservative polititions.

Western morality is trying to outlaw something that's been going on since the beginning of time (well, almost). Simple economics: Guys always want to get off (demand)-->There's a lot of money to be made in lending a "hand" :) (supply).

By the way, I feel that we all "pay" for sex one way or another. Whether it's going to a massage parlor and handing over $100 or going to the store and buying your girlfriend an expensive present.

Then again, maybe I've just finally become too cynical!

But what you said about supply and demand is correct. As long as some is willing to supply a service, and someone is willing to pay for it, then trade will occur, whethers it legal or not.
There is nothing anyone can do about it, whether its sex, or illegal drugs.

If i had to spend $400 just to get her in bed, i would sooner go to the lady of the night and save $300 !!!

Makes sense. I had to lead a debate in class about marijuana, I said they should legalize it, because the government could tax it and make a hell of a lot of money, instead of using it to try to catch people who, Buy/Sell/Grow/Traffic the substance. I guess the same could apply prostitution.

Ok, lets say they do legalize prostitution. The government would need someone to run the "head" of this institution. Who else would be a better head man then Bill Clinton. Seriously, i can picture him as the pimp of the nation. anyone else?

we talked about that in class too and my teacher said she was all for legalizing marijuana because there are only positives coming out of it

and prostitution is legal in the netherlands (so is marijuana).... they have that red light district

Well, I guess right now I take the same stance as I do on Marijuana. If it's illegal I won't do it... Intentionally. If Marijuana and Prostitution become legalized, it will be like Tobacco for me, it's legal but I still won't do it. I'm a wuss. Go ahead call me one. :o BTW, I'm also all for the leaglization of Marijuana, the government could make so much more money than opposed to it being illegal.

that would be in Nevada near Las Vegas there's a couple places.... so I hear :)

It's only legal in a couple counties in Nevada, not everywhere.... I think in Las Vegas it's illegal

yup i was looking it up... in Nevada "Las Vegas, Reno, Carson City and Lake Tahoe still have it illegal"

Should it ever become legalized, I think that'd have to be regulated pretty heavily....there's a lot of controversy about being labeled a killer by giving somebody else your STD's. It'd have to be like health inspections in restaurants. You can't have a restaurant with poison in the food, etc. The gov't probably wouldn't allow you to whore yourself out if you have some STD. Just my 2 pennies.
