1992 s10 Blazer speaker short

what is the best way to get to the speaker build into the dash. The speaker on the passangers side seems to be shorting out or have a loose wire.

If you are talking about the ones on top of the dash I believe they are held in by two torx screws...get the correct "bit" to fit and use a 1/4 inch drive ratchet and socket to fit the hex end of the bit...careful of the windsheild...once the screws are removed the cover lifts right off, and the speakers (4x6 I think) are held in by screws, remove them and unfasten the wiring connector

If they are anything like the newer bodies,do your research on replacement spears.I know on mine the dash is shallow on the drivers side and the speaker doesn't fit perfect.
