Radio (just to clarify - this is a complete shit-heap radio) makes a buzzing noise, that increases / decreases pace with the rpm's. (Static from the spark plugs?) I've heard of getting "shielded" something to eliminate the noise, but what the hell is it that I need? (Plugs, Wires ???)
I plan on replacing it and all the speakers, and adding an amp, etc this spring, this won't mess anything up as far as what I'm fixing, will it?
Thanks

well if its the factory system and it hasnt been taken out or anything its something to do with your distributor and wires. you may want to try replacing the wires

Sorry, it's an after market radio. complete pos.
Also, It has an MSD 6AL ignition with an Accell supercoil ignition. The plug wires I'm not sure what brand or type, although I know they're 8mm aftremarket wires.

It doesn't really have anything to do with the engine , it's all in the radio unit itself. It has a bad ground or corroted grounding point. If it goes up and down with rpms , rev or whatever , then it's a ground or you have 2 wires touching and grounding out. I seen it a million times. Hate the stupid engine noise. Had it on my amp just last week until I realized my ground wire was barely connected by one sliver of wire..heh. Just go through and make sure everything is getting a tight as possible contact with the counter parts.
