Anyone know if the '94 S15 Jimmy 4.3L Vortec (Vin W) has the screw-in type rocker arm studs with the positive stop shoulders (no valve adjustment possible) or the pressed-in rocker arm studs (require valve lash adjustment)?
I suppose I could just yank off the cover and see for myself, but I figured I would ask here first.

I found the answer in my Haynes manual.
"on 1992 and up VIN W engines, there are no provision for valve adjustments. The rocker arm studs have a positive stop shoulder for the rocker arm. After valve service, tighten the rocker arm nuts to the torque listed in the Chapter Specifications [ie. 20 ft-lbs]. Unless there have been machining operations that significantly altered the valve lash, the adjustment should be correct."

They are auto adjusted, don't touch them.
