engine swap

i want to swap out my v6 for a 302.will 95 302 motor mounts fit 80's 302.i have a 94 or 95 cougar 4.6 transmisson will this also bolt on an 80's 302?all help is wellcome. if i wanted to use fuel injection do i just swap the computer and the wiring harnest that plugs into the big terminal block by the passingger side firewall oh my mustang is a 1995

I dont know about all of the fuelinjection stuff, or the tranny, but my buddy took a 302 from a 96' T-Bird and droped in right into his 82', but it was already a 302. If im not mistaken, the mounts should be adjustable (if im wrong please let me know). Oh ya, about the FI, putting a carb on would be a lot easier, not really any wiring, but you can get more power out of the FI than you can a carb. In other words, I think the 302 should go in nicely. (dunno about the other stuff sorry. LoL)
