So I am really challenged when it comes to electrical. I amaze even myself that I can work a light-up fuse tester. So please don't laugh at me. :(

I have these light up emblems. My goal is to connect them to a toggle switch and into a fuse perhaps that only has power when the car is on (in case i leave the switch on and drain the battery blah blah blah). The emblem comes with the emblem with one black wire (-) and one black wire with a gray stripe (+), I'm assuming. Then you've got a 12v unit invertor, one end has the black and black w/ gray wires in that u connect to the coordinating emblem's wires, and on the other side of the invertor u have a red wire and a black wire to ground. So should I add in the toggle switch before the invertor? and then I'm pretty lost on how to connect the red wire to the fuse panel. I found what seems to be an unused slot so I was wondering if I could take the easy way out and stick the + wire into the slot so it's touching the metal inside and all and then put in a fuse in so it keeps the wire in.

I apologize if this doesn't make sense :( someone please tell me how to wire this! thanx!

There's a box above the fuse panel under the dash. You insert a male connector into the left side of it for your positive and fuse it or connect to a separate fuse board (radio shack dirt cheap), then run to a toggle switch. Next run your negative from the toggle switch negative and to the negative of your inverter and then to your chassis. This should give you a reliable on/off switch that can only be used when the ignition is on so you won't accidentally leave it on. I wouldn't jump a fuse on your panel.
