I wish I knew what happened to my new pics.
Unfortunatly I can't work on it right now, it is in storage and fiberglass doesn't cure very well in freezing weather (stupid winter)

I think it looks pretty tight. I like the bumper too.

looks good. You gonna make it so you can take the top off and on? or just off all the time?

It will be permanatly off. I considered fabbing a top for it, but I have 4 other 4g's so why bother i guess...
I want to go with more of the classic hot rod look, the interior will be all fiberglass, dash, console, door panels, etc... so when it goes to the paint booth I just have to remove seats and carpet. the int and ext will blend seamlessly and all painted the same color.

Thats clean as crap, just really not feeling that bumper at all. As long as you like it though. What did you use as support?

square steel tubes, Have those welded across the hatch area, I am starting to reinforce/frame in the front end of the car with steel also.
I should be pulling it out of storage soon, when I do I will get more updated pics...

May I suggest RSX tailights?

Not really my taste, but looks like it's gonna be very unique, I've seen a couple EF convertibles and most of them look like shyt. good luck man. the accord taillights will prolly look tight. :2cents:

May I suggest RSX tailights?

Love rsx taillights, but I have never seen accord taillights on a civic, I have seen a lot of rsx conversions of all sorts. I want to something differant than what other people have done.

Also in regards to the post above, I have seen pics of 4g convertables also, and they did look pretty bad, but the ones that I saw had some sort of top rigged (at least it looked rigged). they looked tacky. Hence the reason that the entire interior will be fiberglass and not the stock civic...

any other suggestions? any input would be awesome.
I have thought about a front end conversion of some sort but I couldn't think of any honda/acura conversion that has not already been done on a 4g...

what about an s2000 conversion?
a 3rd gen civic conversion lol
i dunno, i think ur right that they've all been done

and to me, the car looked like it started off as a 4g4d lol

please please do me a favor and do something to the engine also...just don't paint the valve cover and put on a CAI...i only say this b/c that is the case with just about every "show" type car

wow, u shoulda came to N10 in the summer man. every show car there had a motor swap done.

http://www.cardomain.com/id/n10pics, check it out man, there were only 2 cars there with stock motors with intakes, mine (which is far from a show car) and a guy who had his done up as a show car (white CRX)
and i think one person had a d16a6 with just h/e, the rest that had a "stock" motor, had turbos strapped to em :)
