whitch way should i go? well i have a 1993 eclipse GS....now i could go turbo.....there are a few gst in junk yards around here and i could easly pick up there turbos, but its a big job cuz i need to get the intake manifold, fuel rail, injectors, fuel pump,ECU,exhaust manifold, turbo of course ;), as well as all the piping for the turbo and the small side mount intercooler...and to be safe prolly the entire head from the gst....and thats a whole lotta work, not to mention prolly cost alotta this...$$$, but in the end i would have converted my gs...into a gst, whitch is alot faster lol.....or i could go the other way and go all motor(whitch i have never seen done well on a eclipse) i could most likely afford to buy over the next 6 mouths, intake, exhaust, headers, full set of unorthodox racing pulleys, and a ECU upgrade, it will cost more then going turbo but its much easyer and safer way to go.....but im curous has anybody done the same thing, and in the same way of going all motor, or going conversion to turbo like i can? and if so what are the resalts? plz let me know, i would be very thankfull =D, oh and give some 1/4 times too for a mostly stock 1gen GS if u have them...

should be easier to turbocharge a 1g nt then a 2g. the manifold and everything will bolt right up the the 4g63 n/t motor. i would assume you could use all the i/c pipeing and everything else too. i dunno iv never really looked at 1g n/t only the 420a chrysler so do some research.. once you get some parts together it all seems a lot simpler..

Hmmm....so turbo'ing 1st gen came to my mind in the summer....then I decided it might cost me just like a grand in parts...so I searched...bought my awd turbo(92) for $1500(80xxx)...i sold my NT after that for $1300(121xxx)..I think your better off looking then selling or vice versa...save that money you were gonna spend on turbo'ing to modding a factory turbo car(AWD be even a bigger bonus : )......and going all motor sounds different but how much power will you possibly get?..Im not sure but not as much potential as that awd turbo...1st gs(135hp) 1/4 mile time is probably around a low 17 im guessing....guessing
