where are door sencors located?

And what do they look like? I've tried to find them to clean them but can't locate.
Problem: Door Ajar light stays on; Interior lights stay on (unless I shut them off at control panel); key in ignition alarm sounds even if door is closed; radio shuts off before door is opened.
seems like all things associated with the door being opened or closed are malfunctioning.
I have an appt. for Saturday to get looked at. Problem, while this is happening 90% of the time, if it isn't happening Sat. they said they wouldn't be able to locate the problem. So, I figure I will try clean the sencors to see if that solves the problem.

Sensors are located inside of the door above the latch. Your problem is common. Use WD40 and spray into latch, use lots of it, close and open door 6 times. Spray some more, Repeat on other doors. Problem should go away. If not repeat again. Same solutions for Ranger trucks. Cancel your service appt.

thanks for the info i'll give that a try. it had stopped for a day. Then this morning after my wife went to the grocery it started again.

Don't wait too long, you may drain your battery or you won't get your car started. You know what to do.
