I've recently found the answer for white decals! A fine line white marker!
It's made by Pentel and 3 pointed tips are included. Simply insert a tip into the marker, shake and start turning things white!! Item no is 100WS
The ink is permanent for use on plastic, rubber, glass, metal or other non-absorbent materials.

Anybody know what type of paint is in the Gundam Markers? I picked up a white one today, but it's a lot runnier than I expected... :p

water based :)
what i find with those GUNDAM markers are... you have to go VERY slow with them to give a good texture. Also, write on some printer paper every few feet of painting to clean up the dried layer on the tip of the marker.
once you get used to using this wonderful product, it does wonders ;)
guess what I did my window trims on the body(not the clear parts) of my WRX with ;)
