Shattering Clutches?!?

I have one other important question for anyone who can answer it? My 1997 talon 5 spd keeps shattering clutches its a stock 99 eclipse motor in it i just bought a brand new $250 zoom clutch and it shattered it the next day i may have did one burn out but other than that i was driving normal and it just broke...can someone please help me figure out the problem i have bought 3 clutches in 2 months and yes i do know how to drive they arent burning up the center is shattering....help?

Sounds like shyte discs to me. I've never heard of s a zoom clutch, but it sounds like fisher price. Spend a little more for a name brand or OEM clutch and see if it continues. I can't think of anything mecahnical or in the installation that would cause a broken disc.

i dont know i think its clutchmasters it comes in a black box with red letters is that a shitty one on the computer at advance auto it says oem???

cheap parts store clutches + DSM power = Busted clutch. either buy a actual OEM clutch from the mitsubishi dealer or get a well known aftermarket brand like ACT or Centerforce

alright thanks any idea where i can get a OEM Clutch or a well known aftermarket one since advance is a cheap parts store??and how much do they usually cost?

All of those will have clutches for your car (I'm assuming you have a TSi. If not, then I don't know where to find good clutches for your ESi other than an OEM one from your local dealership).
