Ok so I've got this damn std in my garage and the kid had energy bushings put on it and i dunno wtf the shop did but I cant seperate it. its the one that is under the brake rotor. i jacked it up and it should have just fallen out like the other side. So my my friend is coming wiht a ball joint fork, but if that doesnt work what else can we try? We dont need the hubs anymore so do you think it would be ok to just sawzaw the bolt off?

So its the lower ball joint. Hit it with a really big hammer and they will pop out. or ya just use a fork, but that will ruin the boot.

Do not use a pickel fork if you plan to reuse the balljoint. Use a hammer and strike the lower control arm in a way that is perpindicular to the threaded stud. It will cause the taper to go out of round and pop out the male portion of the taper. I know that doesn't sound like it'll work but i've done it a dozen times just hit it with a 4 lb sledge hard and it'll come apart. Just be careful not to miss and hit the nut or threads! Hit the control arm only!

The fork will almost always tear the ball joint boot. But since youre not using it again...

take a small piece of sheet metal with a groove cut into it and slide it between the boot and the metal before you insert the fork it wont tear it.
