If I ever get a roll cage its gonna be custom. That Cusco cage isnt approved by any Racing organization because its Bolt in (with bolts in all the wrong places according to the S2K guys) and the mounting plates are too small

take a look at nissanperformancemag.com, they installed it in a coupe. It doesnt look to shabby, and cusco is a good name.

if i got the roll cage it would be welded in...

that thing is shit as far as safety is concerned

man there was an awesome thread on this I think over at freshalloy long while back wish i could remeber more on it

basically the metal used, the size, style, and construction are all VERY shitty for safety, basically said you are actually worse off with that shit in the car because it could do harm to you while it offers no protection

its cool for show, harness mounts, or a camera mount

there are other, better ways to stiffen a chassis..... and a real roll cage welded into the core parts of the body/rear subframe would be lightyears ahead of that cusco stuff as far as chassis rigidity goes

ok...can anyone point me in the bad ass roll cage direction...? something prefabricated...there is no shops that can do that stuff around here...shitty
