I love my VR-4 and you cant compare a VR-4 that cost $44,000 new to those cars that most of them cost more that half million dollars. But if I would just compere 5 exotic cars it would be this.
1) Merceds Maclaren SLR
2) Ferrari F50
3) The new Nobel M14 Conspet
4) Nissan Skyline R34
5) Mercedes SL55 AMG

These cars do look bad ass but there are many cars that look better. Now if you compare ONLY cars of the early 90's then thats another story.

But then Supercars have a distinct style, they all have similar styles too, and so I won't vote anymore of them higher.

(F355 is not a supercar imo)

I've got to be honest - its not that I don't appreciate what some of the supercars listed on various posts can do, but I just don't think they look 'better' at all. Given unlimited funds, the two cars I listed are the only ones I buy on looks alone. Since the 3K isn't around any more, the NSX is high on my list of current beauties (I know its relatively unchanged in a decade).

Most Ferrari's just don't get my blood pumping. There has only been one Lambo that perked my interest and Porche is no more stylish then a G35 to me (and I do like the G35, jut not better then my Spyder).

I agree with you on that bit about the supercars. However I think the look of the one I chose (well 2 if you count the xj220) is just a little better than a 3000gt, I wouldn't say the CLK looks better than a spyder, but the question was just 3000gt :P

F355's are just so damn nice for a ferrari!

And on second thought... I don't think the Cobra is better looking then a 3000gt... They're "Cute" 3k's are "HOOOOOOOOT" :P

still imo the only car i left out the beats the 3000gt in looks is the s7 saleen, besides that, IMO nothing else posted so far looks better than a 3kgt

There is ALOT of people that would disagree. While the 3k is a sexy car there are plenty that look better.;)

Yeah we're not on top of the world just yet....maybe the sub-$40K world. Now the '99 3S is a different story, if it has some 18" or 19" 5-star chrome rims and lowerd to the ground...it looks ridiculous (I saw one like that here once, thought it was Ferrari until I got right next to it and saw the Mitsu symbol).

yeah I forgot about that when I listed mine...well compared to the 99 I mentioned above, all the one's i said except the Ferrari and Lotus IMO look better.
