Box Stock. Made this in 2000. Last night I decided to "refurbish" this one. I did a light wet sand and sprayed new clear. All that is needed is to paint the windows and trim, steering wheel, and minor touch ups here and there. Enjoy!

Heh heh, I just noticed that the clear didn't hit the bumpers. Oh well, got something to do tonight.

Nice i like how you painted the two holes on the front bumper. What did you use to paint it like that? Cut out a piece of black decal??? Toothpick? Sweet car! Ride height is very nice also. Wouldn't mind having it as a daily driver :cwm27:

Thanks bro. I think back then, I concentrated on realistic ride heights and not super slammed.

Very nice build, a little detail on the side panel indicators would look great.

so this is one of those projects that you were mentioning in another thread. have to say that thing look tyte as a stocker. finally! an itr in stock form, i've rarely seen a box stock of this kit. keep up the progess and please don't put any CF on that white body. keep it clean and pure! :sunglasse
ooh... just realized that those rims looks exactly the ones on my accord. now hoping a company will make a kit of this car. unlikely!

thanks guys. i said box stock. well, it's more like 99% box stock since i lowered it just a bit. but since out of the box, the model looks lifted, i guess you can say i lowered it to normal. =) LOL! but yeah, no carbon fiber or anything additional. this one is a Type R in it's pure form.

that's yours too?!! DAMMIT!! i just went out yesterday and bought the same rims for my mugen integra. guess i'll have to think of something else then...
about the Type R wheels, i used to think that they were VX rims way back in the day when no one heard of an 94-01 integra that didn't come with round lights. for the first year ITR (Japan) they came with the 4x114.5 instead of the normal 4x100 before they went five lug. that's why they fit your accord (suits it perfectly if you don't mind me saying so :) )

hahaha! don't stress man, it's a 1:43 scale not the fujimi kit.
yeah, when my friend got the wheels for the accord i thought it's nothing special. in the back of my mind i was wondering if it was the same itr rims, but haven't seen any in real life... til now hahahaha! then we made a deal... trade my 240 for his accord. i took the wheels off the car to replace it with winter steelies and tires. i was suppose to look at the code, but totally forgot. now i'm somewhat satisfied with the trade, cause of the itr rims and some other goodies. :loser:

ahhhh i see. well, i think it's a good trade. but with drifting being popular, others may not agree. so the black mugen ITR is a 1/43? coulda fooled me. it looks badass. my fujimi kit is actually done and painted but i'm "refurbishing" it. the tricky part is the fujimi bumper since it's bumper cover and doesn't look accurate. i modified it a little.

can't wait to see your mugen itr. are you using those rims that you bought? what color is it? yeah, it's an ebbro 1:43 diecast. as for the fujimi one i still need to get one for myself. i haven't got around to purchasing it, because of the front mugen bumper over bumper style bugs me. i guess now i have some skills to make it look decent. :cwm27:

i'm uncertain of rim and color choice at this point. the main thing i'm trying to do is make the bumper fit accurately. i already cut the stock typr r bumper off and modified the mugen bumper.

yeah, that's what is bugging me. i think it was mostly testors clear but i think i ran out when i originally painted it, i think that's why the bumpers are "whiter" than the rest of the body. think i should strip it and paint it again?

Sure, I think that old clear has had its time. I say give her a fresh new paint. You'll be happier if you did. :iceslolan

i think my original plan when i bought these was to buy every honda model available and have them all painted white. maybe i'll still do it.
