I have a 4th gen lude with the h22a VTEC engine and my friend found a website www.turbocalculator.com and i would like to know which turbo you guys think would be best. im (right now) just looking for some street racing and a little track but i still want the car to be street driveable. I found kits at that website for around $1500 and as low as $599. I am getting a 16" intercooler a custom 3" catback and 3" downpipe. I would alos like to know what if any mods I would need to do in order to run aroud 8-9 psi.

8-9 psi would be risky on stock internals. Low compression pistons and sleeving the block would be a very good thing to do, although that's not very cheap, I'm not sure exactly how much it is, probably around $1000, just guessing though. If you kept it at 7 psi you could run stock internals, and that's what I would do if I were you.

from what i've read, the Garret T3/T4 turbo is popular with the h22a...I'm interested in what set up you go with and how it turns out and everything, because I've got a 94 vtec lude that i'm most likely going to turbo eventually...so keep me posted!

It depends on your driving style. If you like bursts of instantaneous speed (rally power), then you want a turbo with an efficiency island at the lower RPMs. If you want to have a tremendously fast and powerful car (drag style) with little low end power, then a bigger turbo is the way to go.

The thing that's bad about the H series for boost is not even detonation or structural integrity; its the FRM sleeves. The stuff was made to be sturdy and light, and it was. But +8psi of boost really tears the stuff up, especially in daily driving.

you can save 2000 if you follow these instructions. they're made for an integra but the only diffrence is gonna be the piping and what not but would be too horribly hard to figure out.

someone posted that site before, dont remember who or when.
