How do I replace/repair my Temp Gauge which is non operational?

Don't be in such a hurry to replace your temp guage. You might want to check your thermostat first. I had a problem where I thought my temp guage wasn't working and the dealer told me it most likely was the thermostat gone bad. His litmus test was whether you were getting really hot air when the heat is turned on in the cabin. If the answer is yes, then the thermostat is GOOD. Next take a look at the colant temp. sensor right on top of the thermostat housing. It is a single lead sensor that cost $21.00 with tax and is easy to replace.
