Just hit 100K miles on mah '97 Z28 Convertible, and having problema after problema... Fo sho! First I didn't pass an emission test (some freakin' computer malfunction code), then gas pedal started to kinda collapse every time I sharply step on it, instead of resisting da pressure, then engine started leaking in two places, then loud clicking/ticking noise started to come out of engine... And whole bunch of other smaller sh*t.
You know what I'm sayin'? When GM niggaz will learn how to make RELIABLE cars?! I can tell you right now, homs, if only I knew 2 years ago what will I go through, I would definetely buy some simple reliable japanese Nissan or Honda. But no, estupido Diego had to take pimpin' Camaro, and now I am stuck with half-broken gasoline-suckin' and oil-leakin' monsta, no money to fix it and prolly no chance to sell it.
But hey, dawg, what am I talkin' bout, I SHOULD BE PROUD TO DRIVE THE AMERICAN MUSCLE, should not I?!!

hell, i kinda like the fact that i always have my hands dirty on my baby. The leaking oil mains (where i assume your LT1 is leaking) are normal, we all have them. you also might be leaking from the back of the intake manifold, which is an easy fix. Its kinda the charm of the camaros is that they may break alot, but its always an easy fix. What was the computer code that they found while diagnosing the car? and actually, GM makes some of the most dependable and reliable cars on the road. If you want some hard core honesty, the fact that all of these things are going wrong all of a sudden is probly more that you havent been keeping an eye on things and maintaining the car all the years youve owned it, or perhaps its the fault of the person who owned it before you. either way, GM vehicle failure is usually the fault of the person owning it rather than the car its self. My 89 RS hit 150,000 miles and was still running as well as it did the day it was made. no serious faults until the cooling systems electricals took a dump, had that fixed in a few hours. and ran strong ever sense. just my two cents.

89IROC&RS, You are somewhat correct about previous owner of da car - cabron did not change the oil very often and some coils in the engine don't move anymore 'cause they stuck in da old oil leftovers - that's basicaly why I'm havin' the noise...

mine has over 100k and i dont have any problems other than normal stuff.... its a car dude.... stuff breaks... especialy when you are talking performance cars... if you dont like it go buy your damn little honda hybrid....

Any vehicle that didn't recieve regular servicing would have a problem as mileaged started building up. The most that thing ever cost me was about 1,000 when it had a serious brake issue (my fault for not paying attention).
