lubing the slip joint on 2 piece drive shaft????

hi ive been reading alot the past few days about people lubing thier drive shaft??? what exactly are the steps to do this??? do i just rub grease all over where he two pieces meet? and help would be greatly appreaciated

you maybe lucky and already have a zerk to squeeze some grease into into it.

The clunking and thumping is common on the 98-03; 2004 these switched to a 1 peice unit (wonder why?).

i have a 92, im not sure if it has a zerk or not, if it doesnt, what are the steps to grease it

Same as the instructions link Ryan provided. Remove the flange bolts at the differential input, pull/cut the clamps off the boot. Slide the driveshaft apart, clean, regrease, reinstall. Make sure you line everything up the way it was for balancing purposes.
