I am having a problem with the ignition on my 91 plymouth voyager van. I am taking it in to get new ignition and want to start the van and drive it in. is there a way to hot wire ity with out crossing starter w/ screwdriver. and not tearing out wires at ignition. starter is kind of hard to get at. thanks a bunch.

Well you figure, you're just driving it to the mechanic to get it fixed, so its not like crossing the screwdriver will be an everyday thing, just get it started once, and drop it off at the shop, then they can push it around/take care of it...

never mind I found help on a different part of this site, if anyone reading this knows the location of the starter relay on a 91 plymouth voyager that would be a help, thanks

its built into the stater just get power to the positive side of the ignition and power up the starter.

like i said, starter is hard to get to, what i would like is some way with ignition on to start car from passenger or under hood. Is there a way to do this without tearing things out or whatever.

someone told me you can start your car if you get jumper wires put positive side of battery to ignition coil and to pos side of starter motor and it should start ---it works on lawnmowers lol---

If you're really that passionate about it then run some wire into the car from the starter and battery and install a switch.
