Hi,
I am putting in a new seatbelt into my moms avalon. Does anyone know the torque specs for the 4 bolts (two for the retractor, 1 up high and 1 at the base)? I don't have a manual and would rather not buy one just for this since i never do work on her car. Thanks,
Brad

Brad,
The bolts that fasten the seat belts to the frame are torqued to 30 ft-lbs. This is also the case for the retractor bottom bolt, but the top bolt of the retractor looks like a different fastener is used (smaller) which is torqued to 66 inch-lbs (note INCH and not FOOT). I can't tell clearly from the diagram what kind of fastener is used here, but if they're all the same fastener, then I'd go 30 ft-lbs all around.
