What Car Wash Soap..??

The reason i'm posting this here is cause i came across this guy at autozone with a 96 z28 that had a GLEAMING shine. I complimented him on the car, and asked what wax he used.. He told me it's a special soap that contains WAX in it-after you wash the car with the soap it leaves a waxy film over the paint, which gives it a shine.

I forgot the name of the soap damnit.... What are some good soaps that have wax in them..? I think the dude meant Carnuaba (spelling..?) wax within the soap.

i love to use eagle 1 wet its red, and it suds up really good, leaves a excellent shine

BTW, i use meguires pink soap-it leaves a great shine, but i'm looking for a soap that contains alittle wax in it.

eagle 1 has wax in it. and thanx for the complement! and mequires is excellent too, i use their wax on my car.

Just looking for a soap to give that extra shine you know, between regular waxing.

eagle 1 is were its at its really good at getting the road grime off too.

i use laundry detergent, that leaves a real good shine actually

I once used some soap/wax in a bottle that a friend got from wal-mart for like 2 bucks for a half gallon and it worked great. My car has never shined soo much. And the Rain-X wash/wax mix sucks, dont waste your money.

i just use soap, and then wax it. i use Meguires gold.

I'm gonna pick this stuff up at pep boys tomorrow, it's a yellow soap with carnauba wax in it. It's made by a brand called KIT, and it looks real good-real thick.

i use regular dish washing soap to wash my car, but i use Turtle Wax Ultra Gloss on my car.. before that i used the Meguiars Gold Class, i liked both very well..

using dish soap is bad for your car...its srips the wax off...dish soap contains abrasives

the only time i would ever use dish soap is when you are wanting to strip all the wax off of a car to rewax

wtf....car soap is just as cheap as dish soap!...i can get a gallon of that crap for like 4 bucks

meguirs NXT is good its thick and lathery and a wax called "finishing touch" its about 25$ for a 9 oz bottle but it is the most amazing car wax anyone will ever see, some guy showd me at a car show that we were parked next too made his ugly paint show quality it blew me away but it is $$$ expensive.

dont no one ever use dish washing liquid. it will strip your clearcoat off.

kieft & kasey ill buy you both a bottle of Soap.... since im such a nice guy n all (its just going on forumulas tab anyways).... plus Kasey you could use a little soap on yourself to get that stench out....(by a little i mean a lot)... and kieft... same goes for you.... that cabbage smell has just got to go...
