Flashing red light on tachometer?

Hello all,

I recently bought a 2003 Enthusiast 350z (burnt orange), and it didn't come with a owner's manual. When I get on the accelerator, I notice a red flashing light under the tachometer at about 4500 rpms. Is this something that you set on the display as a shift point (mph, temp. remaining fuel) or is something wrong?

Thank you, and happy driving!

BTW, the car is soooooo fun...

That is the shift light you can set to what RPM's you want it to start flashing and it will get solid when you reach that set RPM.

If you cycle through the display on the computer pod on the center you will get to that and you can change it.
