heater control problems

On my 1992 gmc the heater control panel on dash won't power up. the fuse is good and there is power.if i jiggle the fuse the display will light up then it wont do anything and goes out.

possibly a loose wire on the backside or dirty contacts where the fuse gets inserted. Maybe try cleaning the contacts or try a different fuse. I have seen some fuses that look ok but will not work. Just a thought.
