go to www.srtforums.com and do a search lots of info there. or you can check out www.performancesport.net. lots of very knowledgeable guys there too.

if you dont want to check that out, then i will give a brief how too. prepared to get scratched and frustrated. you will need a wracheting 10mm box end wrench. remove the battery. the stock surge valve is located directly below the turbo. there will be a vacuum line connecting it. there are 3 bolts. 2 of them you can get from the right/driver side. just unwrench them with that box end wrench. the next one is a lot tougher. you will need to lay ontop of the block - so make sure its not hot (i did it on a warm motor, and was covered in sweat by the time i was done. laying on top of a 110 degree motor in the middle of summer). you will want your armpit of your left arm to be right over the back of the valve cover. bend your elbow around (underneath) the turbo, and with the wrench in your hand, twist away on that last bolt. then pull off the surge valve. If your using the mopar or AGP blow off valve (spacer on stock surge valve, which will work for boost levels well above 25psi) attach the spacer to the stock surge valve - be sure to use the gaskets - and reattach the entire assembly back the exact reverse of how you installed it, using supplied hardware. again be sure to use the supplied gaskets or a liquid gasket. be sure you tighten each bolt snugly. if your using any other after market blow off valve, instead of reinstalling your stock surge valve, install a block off plate (which is just a piece of metal that will cover the hole left by the surge valve) the same way you would the mopar blow off valve. you will be using your stock hardware, and again be sure you use a gasket to seal the new plate. you will then need to replace the factory pipe that leads from the intercooler to the throttle body with an aftermarket one with a blow off valve flange on it. that piece will clamp on with hose clamps. attach the blow off valve to the pipe. route the vacuum line that was on the stock surge valve to the new blow off valve. make sure all of the bolts are tight. fire the car up and check for leaks. you will then need to adjust the new blow off valve (only aftermarket ones) you will loosen the nut on the adjustment screw and using an alan wrench adjust it to the propper tension. tighten the nut again. and your good to go.

how do you propperly adjust the blow off valve?

simple. drive it. if it leaks while making boost its too soft. loosen the nut, and tighten the alan bolt. if it doesnt blow off when you let off the throttle then its too tight, loosen the nut and loosen the alan bolt. keep adjusting it til it does what you want it to!
