87 240 oil from filler cap

I have an 87 240 DL that suddenly started pushing oil out of the fill cap has anyone else experienced this problem?

Kevin, the engine block is building up pressure, or your filler cap gasket is stiff/torn/missing. Take a look at your cap first. Take it apart and clean it, and check the gasket seal. After this you might insure your trap is clean(under the manifold) and any other vent lines for the block. Keep an eye on this pressure build up, because it can cause oil leaks around seals that are under the timing belt cover. Good luck
