I think hes talking about a remote control ezno. If you had said some car that a 15 year old would have it might be believeable but not an enzo, come on kid.

I only look here, but I have to say....BullSh!t.
Fine, post
Proof of sale
Auction link
Pictures with "I love AF" or "Owned" on the window, with you giving the middle finger to the camera
Pictures of your uncles supra and your, ahem, "Ezno" Together in a parking lot
Provide all of this, and we might believe you.

That's impossible, because ferrari calls you up and says you can have an enzo. you have to be older than 15 and you have to have alot of money and somewhat famous.

Ok I dont have a enzo but the fact remains you could make a supra a lot faster for a fraction of the cost.

so whats your point you can make almost anything faster for a fraction of the cost...this is kinda like bench racing....pointless...sad >.<

It's not being fast, it's the fact that it is-
A) The most beautiful car in existance
B) It is a rarity in itself
C) It's Fast enough
D) It's built 10X better
E) It's a F*ckin Ferrari
Who in there right mind would pay attention to your grandpa's Supra when there is an Enzo in the some 100 mile radius? Not anyone I know...

I'm sure a Supra could go faster....wait...no....I'm sorry...a Veilside would lose....in a drag or a road race.
The truth is that if Supras were SOOO damn good...why do I rarely see them being competive in the racing world?

You could also make a Pinto go faster for less money, but the point is the Enzo is an amazing car on the track and can do it lap after lap without wearing out. Besides it looks way better than a supra.

I'd have to disagree about the Pinto there....but thats a whole new topic.
The fact is that almost anything can be made faster for a price...not just cost either. In many cases adding more required maintenace and a shorter engine life. Ferrari makes their cars have a balance of power and durablility. If you want more power....
"If there is something you didn't find on our website, like twin-turbo engine tuning, racing or sport wheels, interior-design, etc...
Please feel free to contact us and we will see what we can do for you and your Enzo!"

I'm sure they'd glady get an Enzo up to around 1000+HP. Its all a matter of what your willing to pay as far as money and engine life.

I forgot to say I was refering to 1/4 mile. I've seen some Pintos converted to rear drive drag cars with huge engines and blowers.
Ferrari isn't about being the most afordable cars on the Earth they are about style and performance. And they have alot that can still be done to them. Like the twinturbo and such. I can hardly amagine a twinturbo Enzo.

If there is a will, there is a way. Koenig is very good at finding a way...they more recently made their twin supercharged Viper kits availablr.
As for why you modify an Enzo? I can't say for sure. Some people just can't get enough power. Others may not be happy that apx. 348 other Enzos just like their exist...they wand theirs to stand out. I was trying to prove a point to these guys who come in saying that their modifed Supra can beat a supercar....but everone seems to neglect the fact that you can still tune a supercar, even if it is just a bit excessive.....

I think that people that are realy into cars would probley do something to them for better sound or whatever. They are fast but if a highly moded car comes up next to you. You would still want to be able to blow their doors off in a race. After all you wouldn't want to get beat in a car you spent at least a million dollars to get in the first place.

No, I meant that part of being able to buy an Enzo meant you couldn't modify it too much. Kind of like that other ferrari that you couldn't actually buy..it was just leased to you and they could pull the lease whenever.

I (not owning an Ezo) can't be 100% surfe on what restraints Ferrari has on the Enzo. However, what I can say is that if the had that much contoll over the Enzos, they wouldn't be trading hands at all....they would have had to stay in the hands of the select few they picked to own the Enzo.

they make this car seem like its god charriot, why did they make so many of them then? Top gear was only able to get a test in one of them after 2 years of looking around, while they had the konigsegg the first thing it came out, Im not talking smack about the enzo, but there is about a total of 20 koniggseggsa on the planet and over 300 enzos, what gives? What makes you qualify to own one of these cars? Youu'd probably never see a person that could take the car to its full limits actually driving that car I bet.

Owe....English hurts, hmm?
The reason they're so rare, and in turn, hard to aquire is that A) they made a limited production run. then they were done. Zip. Natta. finished. Koenigsegg makes them still, and is more or less, less rare.
B) they cost more then a Koenigsegg new, they cost even more used. I wouldn't hand over my million dollar sports car to some yahoo with a TV Camera.
C) To qualify a person to own one, you must have previously owned both an F40, and f50, and a fair amount of money and be fairly well known.

You didn't need to own all of the previous Ferrari benchmark cars. You just had to have been in business with Ferrari, and had good relations with them for a while. So mostly, the people who were recieving the Enzo's were wealthy people that have been doing business with Ferrari in the past. Also, being a celebrity helps. You don't think that they would turn down Jay Kay or Pink Floyd's drummer for one of the 399 Enzo's, do you?

Great posts I like the argument here.
I think the ultimate super car is the ultimate illusion. Now matter how much money you invest in a super car, it wont outperform a car designed or tuned for one single purpose. Just like the supra which does the 1/4 mile a bit quicker. Yes you could tune the Enzo to go faster than the supra, but you would sacrifice speed at other places and suddenly it would be performing very badly at the Nordschleife.
But how fast is the Enzo, probably the fastest streetcar. But all owners I warn you, don't take it to a trackday couse there just might be a little 20000 pound racer out there which might leave you in its dust.

Enough compitition for the title which nowbody really can define. And your right 20000 wouldn't be enough but You bet you can get a car which is quicker on the track for less then 100000 pound, like the new Donkervoort:grinyes:
